Applicants need their original ITIN letter, proof of income, identification or driver's license or driving privilege and passport, and any other documentation as required by the lender.
Who is eligible for an ITIN?
Non-U.S. persons who are not eligible for an SSN but have a requirement to file a U.S. tax return can apply for an ITIN. This includes individuals such as foreign nationals with tax obligations, as well as their dependents and spouses.
Does an ITIN credit report transfer when I get a social security number?
Yes, since credit reports are linked to your identifying information, parts of your ITIN credit history can be carried over when you obtain an SSN. To ensure your credit history is correctly transferred, you’ll need to contact the major credit bureaus and update your social security number with your creditors.
Do I need to become a Cyprus member to apply for an ITIN loan?
No, you can apply for an ITIN loan without being a Cyprus member.  However, you’ll need to become a Cyprus member when you are approved and accept the loan.
